Remember: The list of reasons to NOT vote for John Shimkus can only grow longer as time progresses. The latest addition (after he also has ties to sweatshop-loving Karl Rove like almost everyone else in the GOP) ---> the evil overlord of the Grand Oil Party is back in action bringing his hammered behavior with him. In truth, he never really left. He just slithered into the dark shadows of a hole that unfortunately was way too shallow for words. Ever the good little soldier, even a disgrace to the uniform will follow orders like before. And John Shimkus prides himself on following orders to the letter. Besides, it was worth $22K and guaranteed more income per annum than his teaching high school history. Who knows how much it will be worth to him this time.

Obsequious loyalty -- it's a good thing!

Remarks on Daniel Davis Fundraiser

Karen Sadefur, a St. Clair County Democratic activist, attended the fundraiser for Daniel Davis. Pam Gronemeyer, Stepen Kreigh, and the Downstate Democrats for Change hosted the event.

She posted her observations on IllinoisDemNet. The site is always worth a look. Check out her post.

Naturally, drop a line and donation to Daniel Davis at the first opportunity.
